Zespół Szkół Ponadpodstawowych No. 3 is one of ten public educational institutions in Gniezno, which enables the continuation of education after finishing primary school. The institution was established in 1965, and since 2020 it has been operating under its current name.

The school conducts classes at the level of technical school (5 years) and vocational school (3 years). It enables students to acquire knowledge and skills specified in professional qualifications, necessary to obtain a school-leaving certificate. The student can choose a construction technical school, stylists technical school or hairdressing technical school. In the fifth grade, students take the Matura exam.

In three-year classes, students learn the following professions: confectioner, baker, carpenter, hairdresser, upholsterer, car mechanic, fitter and many others.

The total number of employees is 40 people. The number of students is 750 aged 16-19.

The school cooperates with many organizations, it is the only one in the city that implements Erasmus+ EU projects on a large scale. Every year, as part of projects for vocational schools, students are sent to Germany for 3-week internships.

Gniezno is a city in the western part of Poland, located in the Wielkopolskie Voivodship, 50 km from Poznań (airport), which is the capital of the voivodeship. About 70,000 people live in Gniezno. Historically, it was the first capital of Poland. The most important monument of the city is the Cathedral. Gniezno is located on the so-called Piast Route. This is where Poland was founded.
